Peoplescapes

Inspired by my desire to paint portraits, with these works my goal is to capture as much of the essence or "beingness" of the subject as possible. Using a photograph as a point of departure, I draw on my technical skills as well as my intuition in the hopes of offering a truer image of a person's inherent greatness.
